Gore Brings Variety of VR Hardware Solutions to CES 2017 from Baidu VR

During CES 2017, Goer brought a variety of virtual reality solutions that included mobile device-based, PC-based VR head-mounted displays, and VR all-in-one and VR smart accessories.

In this CES, Goer brought together the VR820 integrated machine developed by Qualcomm, Cool1 and PC-based VR head display Pro1. Among them, the VR820 is equipped with an exclusive Snapdragon 820 chip, with eye tracking, 3D sound effects, less than 18ms low latency and low dizziness, efficient heat dissipation design, and active noise reduction technology based on 4 microphones.

Goer said that Gore will continue to work closely with Qualcomm on VR in the future to develop next-generation VR ecological solutions based on Opteron chips.

In addition, Goer has also exhibited another VR machine, Cool1, which adds gesture tracking technology to this product. The head and gloves are all independently designed and manufactured by Gore. The PC-based VR head Pro1 is equipped with an indoor positioning solution and a glove-based interactive method.

At the same time, Goer also demonstrated its own R&D and manufacturing of 360° panoramic camera products based on the Ambarella A12 platform, which supports real-time image stitching. The video images can be viewed in real time on mobile phones, computers, VR head displays and other terminals.

It is reported that Gore had revenue of 12.6 billion in the first three quarters of 2016, an increase of 38.57% year-on-year. On January 3 this year, Goer announced that it plans to invest 160 million yuan to participate in VR listed company Kopin, and has signed a series of "strategic cooperation agreement" with Kopin, which will design and manufacture Gore's design capabilities, and Kopin. The company combines advanced technologies and processes in the areas of ultra-small displays, voice chips, optics, OLED display, battery technology, virtual reality (VR) and components to further develop and sell a series of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) ) System products, as well as other wearable products.
