People who create content in virtual reality (VR) need two main things: the way they create content, and the way they share and distribute content. STYLY provides a cloud and browser service that allows users to create virtual reality content. Now the service has been extended to provide a shared space where users can share content.
The new STYLY Gallery allows users to access more than 1,000 VR works such as music videos, 3D art, visual stories and fashion shows. Users can also upload and share their virtual reality content with other users and creators.
In order to experience STYLY Gallery, users need to download the STYLY VR Viewer app, which is currently only available for HTC Vive, but there are plans to provide the app to Oculus Rift, Samsung Gear VR and Google Daydream.
Users of STYLY VR Viewer can browse STYLY Gallery, find their favorite VR scene, and then click the HMD icon in the lower right corner to experience the scene in VR. Using the VR camera feature, users can also capture images from VR scenes and share them to the gallery or Facebook and Twitter.
For users who don't use a virtual reality helmet, you can use the WebView audio-visual option. Users can click on the cube icon in the lower right corner of the gallery to view 2D scenes.
STYLY is a Japanese company called "Psychological Virtual Reality Lab", which is dedicated to providing a cloud- and browser-based service for creating high-quality virtual reality content without the need for programming. The platform accepts imports from tools such as Bender, Maya, and Sketchup.
The company also recently participated in a seminar in Pakistan to help students participate in the creation of virtual reality content.
