Optoma, the world's leading projector manufacturer, recently launched a wireless VR helmet designed for the PC, freeing users from the constraints of cables. It revealed that it uses the 60GHz band Wi-Fi (the highest transmission rate is 6Gbps) to achieve VR effect.
Wang Jun further explained that the existing wireless network requires an average of 4 Mbp for a user to view 2K video, 18 Mbp for 4K video, and 175 Mbp for VR. Huawei is the pioneer of the 4.5G concept. Huawei has achieved a 1Gbps rate on the 4.5G network at least five years after the 5G arrival.
