For manufacturers like Apple, Samsung has the highest priority in terms of its screen supply, and this has also caused domestic manufacturers to fall into the state of competing for resources.

South Korea etnews gave the news that domestic mobile phone manufacturers Huawei, OPPO, vivo, Xiaomi, etc. have joined the team competing for Samsung AMOLED screen, of course, in addition to the flagship machine, more and more mid-range smartphones are also using this screen.

The report also mentioned that although Samsung Display has a huge amount of money, most of its production capacity is reserved for Apple, and the shortage of supply is difficult to improve in the short term. At present, Samsung Display's A2 plant produces 5.5 generations of hard OLEDs with a monthly output of 1.5 million pieces, while A3 is responsible for manufacturing 6 generations of curved OLEDs with a monthly output of 15,000 pieces.

The industry estimates that after Samsung's additional investment this year, the production capacity of the A2 plant will increase by 20,000 pieces, and the A3 plant will increase by 30,000 pieces. However, even this is still far from satisfying the market. It is said that OPPO originally planned to ship 60 million OLED smartphones this year. It will soon be upgraded to 90 million to 100 million units.
