In recent reports, it has been revealed that to accelerate the growth of the new energy vehicle industry, the New Carbon New Materials Company has partnered with the local government in Shishi City. The collaboration follows a development model that integrates new energy vehicles with real estate, aiming to create a sustainable and innovative industrial ecosystem.
Yinjiene Carbon New Materials Group Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Company" or "Alken Carbon New Materials") announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Shenzhen Yinjiene Carbon Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (known as "Shenzhen Silver Base" or "Party B"), signed the "Shishi Power Battery Series Project Investment Agreement" with the Shishi Municipal Government on the 26th. This agreement marks a significant step forward for the company’s expansion into the new energy sector. In the first phase of the project, the company will invest 500 million Wh, focusing on three key projects: an automated battery PACK production line, a motor electric control system, and a new energy vehicle integrated management system. Together, these projects are expected to require a total investment of 300 million yuan.
According to internal sources, after undergoing three major strategic transformations, the company has gradually built a comprehensive business model centered around two emerging industries—new materials and new energy vehicles—with real estate serving as a supplementary sector. In the fields of new materials and new energy vehicles, the company follows a top-level design approach of “Technology Finance + Industry Platform + Industrial Park.†It emphasizes an integrated development strategy of “horizontal expansion and vertical integration,†leveraging graphene and carbon fiber materials as foundational elements. With power batteries at the core and motor electric control systems as supporting components, the company is actively building out the entire new energy vehicle supply chain.
The company has established its headquarters in Shenyang as a central management hub, a branch in Shenzhen as an operational center, and industrial bases in Jiangsu Changzhou and Liaoning Panjin. Beijing and Shenzhen serve as key nodes in its strategic layout, combining industry and finance to drive innovation. Ultimately, the company aims to become a public enterprise aligned with national industrial policies, promoting both business growth and investor value while contributing to national technological advancement and economic prosperity.
As part of this partnership, the Shishi Municipal Government will provide support for the operation of new energy vehicles in several ways: first, by involving the company in the formulation of local new energy vehicle promotion and application plans; second, by assisting in obtaining necessary qualifications such as rental car licenses and road transport permits; third, by supporting the construction of charging infrastructure; and fourth, by facilitating government-enterprise cooperation to promote urban electrification. This initiative will be led by the government and driven by the Silver Group, with Shishi serving as a model city for implementation, eventually expanding to Quanzhou and across Fujian Province.
