Management Regulations
The State Grid Corporation's "DC Power System Operation Specifications" outlines the operational management requirements, emphasizing that the supervisory unit must conduct annual inspections and evaluations of the DC power supply systems under its jurisdiction. This ensures the system operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards.
Cleaning and Inspection Process
1. Preparation Work
To carry out the cleaning and inspection, the following tools are required: two brushes with insulated handles (one 1-inch and one 2-inch), and a hair dryer. These tools help ensure proper cleaning while maintaining safety during the process.
2. Cleaning and Inspection Steps
(1) Ensure the battery room has good ventilation, adequate lighting, and functional fire-fighting equipment. The temperature should be within acceptable limits, and there should be no flammable or explosive materials present.
(2) Check that the screen cabinet door is intact and properly grounded to prevent electrical hazards.
(3) Inspect the batteries for any signs of leakage, swelling, or deformation of the casing.
(4) Verify that all connection points are securely fastened, with no looseness. The terminals should be clean, free from corrosion, and coated with neutral petroleum jelly to prevent oxidation.
(5) Examine the battery plates for cracks, bends, deformation, sulfation, or short circuits. Ensure the color of the plates is normal, and check that there is no undercharging or overcharging. Also, confirm that the electrolyte temperature does not exceed 35°C.
(6) Use a brush to clean the battery panel partitions and the surface of the battery units to remove dust and debris.
(7) Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust from the bottom of the battery cabinet, ensuring no accumulation remains.
(8) Check the charging device’s AC input voltage, DC output voltage, and current. Confirm that the meters are functioning correctly, and that protective sounds and lights are working as expected. Listen for any abnormal noises during operation.
(9) Verify that the voltage on the DC control bus and power bus is within the specified range. Ensure the float charge current meets the required standards.
(10) Test the insulation resistance of the DC system to ensure it is in good condition and free from faults.
(11) Inspect the monitoring signals of each branch circuit. Make sure the indicators are working properly, the fuses are intact, and the automatic air switches are in the correct position.
This thorough inspection and cleaning process helps maintain the reliability and longevity of the DC power system, reducing the risk of failures and ensuring continuous, safe operation.
