Revolution Lighting Technologies Inc (RVLT), a US supplier of high-end LED lighting solutions, said on Wednesday that it had acquired Ampere LLC for $30 million.
RVLT expects the transaction to increase its earnings per share in the second half of the year. Apprise is a total solution provider for LED energy-efficient lighting projects in the commercial, industrial, hospitality and other industries. Its revenue is expected to reach $30 million by 2015, and is expected to include 10 million in cash, 10 million RVLT common stock, and 10 million promissory notes.
In 2012, Topband (002139.SZ), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, Tuobang (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. invested in Seesmart. In 2013, the company was acquired by RVLT listed on NASDAQ. As of the semi-annual report for 2015, Tuobang holds 0.19% of RVLT shares.
