Have you ever imagined being able to turn on the TV with just a simple hand gesture, or switch off the lights with a flick of your fingers? With "Welle," this futuristic experience is now possible.
This innovative device is designed for handwriting and gesture recognition, and it's currently being funded through a crowdfunding platform. Welle connects to your favorite smart devices via Bluetooth, including lights, TVs, smart speakers, doors, thermostats, cameras, curtains, fans, air purifiers, and more.
Once connected, you can use an embedded sonar interface on any surface to control your smart home. Just set up your preferred gestures and enjoy seamless interaction with all your devices.
Swipe your hand to change the color of the light, or wave to turn off the TV from across the room — no remote needed.
Welle also offers exciting possibilities for interactive games, making it more than just a smart home controller. While it’s expected to ship in October 2017, it will be officially unveiled at CES 2018. If you're interested, keep an eye out for updates from Welle's team at the event.
