Shenzhen's private enterprises exported US$58.08 million worth of software, an increase of 30.7%, accounting for 86.8%. Foreign-invested enterprises exported 8.37 million U.S. dollars, an increase of 76.9%. System software is the largest export variety. In the first 7 months, Shenzhen's export system software was US$ 53.38 million, an increase of 11.7%, accounting for 78.4%. During the same period, export application software was 12.1 million U.S. dollars, an increase of 73.7%.

Software product revenue was 52.14 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 23%. Among the large and medium-sized cities across the country, Shenzhen's software business revenue ranked second after Beijing.
