China Strengthens Global Cooperation in Semiconductor Lighting

According to reports, in October 2010, China National Semiconductor Lighting Research and Development and Industry Alliance (CSA) as the main sponsor, the United States, Australia, the Netherlands, South Korea, India and other countries and Taiwan's semiconductor lighting industry organizations, set up the world's first The International Semiconductor Lighting Alliance (ISA), a non-profit, non-governmental organization that specializes in the development of the semiconductor lighting industry. ISA is the first international alliance of strategic emerging industries headquartered in China. "It fully demonstrates the international community's recognition of the strategic position of China's semiconductor lighting industry and market."

In cooperation with developed countries and emerging economies, through the International Science and Technology Cooperation Program, the China National Semiconductor Lighting State Key Laboratory establishes an international research and development entity “International Open Innovation Center” at Delft University in the Netherlands, and jointly cultivates doctoral and postdoctoral degrees. China also cooperated with the German Ministry of Education and Research in the areas of innovative applications, standards testing, demonstration project evaluation, and product recycling; established "BRIC countries semiconductor lighting cooperation platform" with Brazil, India, Russia, and South Africa; and jointly with the Kenya Ministry of Education and Research.
