Three major operators, China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom, will face major personnel changes: China Mobile chairman Wang Jianzhou will retire, and China Unicom chairman Chang Xiaobing will transfer Chairman of China Telecom and chairman of China Telecom Wang Xiaochu will be transferred to the governor of Yunnan Province.
Li Yi said in Weibo: "According to the latest information I have, China Mobile chairman Wang Jianzhou will retired Guang Rong, and Guo Guohua will be transferred to the chairman of China Mobile. Shang Qing, president of China Telecom, will be transferred to the vice minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, chairman of China Telecom. Wang Xiaochu was transferred to the governor of Yunnan Province and Chang Xiaobing, chairman of China Unicom, was transferred to the chairman of China Telecom, and Lu Yimin, president of China Unicom, was promoted to chairman of China Unicom. Not surprisingly, this series of appointments will be released in June.â€
