Of the 90 large-scale power generation companies within the statistical scope, 23 have been operating at a loss.

Yang Zijiang, deputy director of the Northeast Telecommunication Regulatory Authority, said that in the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan†period, the Northeast Telecommunication Regulatory Bureau will increase supervision of power supply, dispatch, energy conservation and emission reduction, and continue to promote and improve the construction of the power market.
